Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect in my first class?
Classes are designed for the following: Stretch, Warm Up, Across The Floors, Drills, Learning Choreography, and Performing/Filming. You’ll be surrounded by supportive dancers who are learning as well.
What heels should I bring?
For beginners, look for 3-3 1/2 inch stilettos, open toe heel booties. Or look for any boots you have that you feel comfortable in! All of our heels classes are HEELS OPTIONAL, so wear sneakers if you are not comfortable in heels yet! For floorwork, platform/stripper heels are perfectly fine! Or socks :) Please also bring knee pads just in case to class!
I’m a complete beginner. Am I welcomed?
Yes, YES, AND YES! We welcome ALL levels in our classes. You will be in class with many other level of dancers, however, focus on your own personal growth and you will surprise yourself. I usually teach round one and round two the same week. Same choreography. I urge you to come for both rounds if you want to witness faster growth!
What’s the difference between Intro versus Beginner?
Intro to heels - slower pace, you learn foundational movements and learn how to walk. Beginner level - beginner choreography based class.
