Intro to Heels

Focus: Foundations, confidence, and body awareness
This level is designed for dancers new to dancing in heels. The class focuses on posture, alignment, balance, and basic walks and transitions. Students will learn how to move safely and confidently in heels while exploring foundational grooves, weight transfers, and beginner choreography.
Goals: Develop stability, comfort, and confidence in heels; understand basic technique and safety.

Beginner Heels

Focus: Technique and control
For dancers who have basic comfort in heels and are ready to start learning stylized movement. This class introduces simple choreography, transitions, and beginner floor work while continuing to emphasize clean lines, control, and confidence.
Goals: Build strength and stamina in heels, improve coordination and timing, and begin connecting movement to musicality and attitude.

Beginner/Intermediate Heels

Focus: Refinement and performance
This level bridges foundational training and more challenging combinations. Dancers will work on fluid transitions, turns, and floor work, with greater emphasis on dynamics, texture, and storytelling. Choreography becomes faster-paced and more detailed.
Goals: Strengthen technique, enhance body control, and begin developing personal style and performance quality.

Open Level Heels

Focus: Versatility and individual growth
Suitable for a range of dancers (from confident beginners to advanced movers) who want to explore choreography and performance without strict level limitations. Modifications and challenges will be offered throughout class.
Goals: Encourage dancers to work at their own pace, explore various styles of heels choreography (commercial, sensual, contemporary, etc.), and deepen connection to musicality and presence.

Intermediate/Advanced Heels

Focus: Precision, power, and performance artistry
For experienced dancers comfortable executing complex choreography and performance with confidence. This level incorporates intricate footwork, advanced floor and turn sequences, and strong performance execution. Expect faster choreography, layered musicality, and deeper artistic intention.
Goals: Master control and transitions, elevate stage presence, and express individuality through advanced choreography and storytelling.
